We have been around for more than thirty years, and over that time we have become experts in our field.
1975: Friends of Farmworkers was formed as a project of the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania as the “Farmworkers Civil Liberties Project”.
1977: Friends of Farmworkers was established as a tax-exempt non-profit association.
1979-81: Friends of Farmworkers incorporated and adopted its current name.
Over the years, we have provided direct legal assistance to thousands of individuals focusing in employment, housing and public entitlements.
we have also trained and provided education to other organizations on the legal rights of farmworkers, mushroom workers, landscaping workers and food processing workers.
